When you Save the quote you’ll see what your customer is going to see—a professional type-written quote describing the project they wanted a price on, and it was all done in a matter of just a few minutes. And if they call you back and want to change the size of the building… no worries! Simply return to the quote, make the requested changes, press Save and you’re all caught up again.

Now that your potential customer has a professional looking quote in their hands, let’s get an agreement signed and get this project started! From the Proposal screen in Post Frame Protractor you simply click Proceed to Contract. Here you can enter in data that’s relevant to your customer’s job sight and building.

Once the details are all up to date select “Save Contract” to preview your agreements. The first one up will be the agreement between your company and your customer. You can review and print from here.

You can also view the agreement between your company and your building crew along with any sub-contractor agreements that may have been generated. If you’re a commission salesman, you can also view your cut on this job as well. When you’re satisfied with your agreement, press the Lock & Upload button to assign it an official contract number and boom – you’re done.

Post Frame Protractor will generate a Sub Contractor Agreement for each of the sub-contractor items you specified for your building. When it’s time to hand out the work to the subs, you now have a written agreement between your company and the sub-contractor that clearly states what he or she is being contracted to do, what they’re responsible for, all the pertinent job information and most importantly – what they’re getting paid.

Post Frame Protractor generates sub-contractor agreements for all traditional items like concrete, insulation, gutters, and even overhead doors. But it doesn’t have to stop there. If you have other items that you prefer to sub contract out, we can help you set them up to make quoting them in the future easier and more accurate.

With Post Frame Protractor there is no reason to dread changes orders any more. Simply pull up the building you wish to modify, and make the changes. The price that shows up now is only for the modifications. Press Save and Post Frame Protractor will generate a contract addendum. This will be true for your building agreement between you and your customer as well as between you and your subcontractors. It will even provide an addendum for your commissioned salespeople.
